Mad by name.

Can you guess the connecting line between this pho Can you guess the connecting line between this photo, and something on the cover of the "Witch Way to the End of the World" aka your new reflective travel journal? It's one of the wildest stories of my life so far, and indicates that nothing in this designed journal is a coincidence!

Hint: the photo is taken in Minca, Colombia, in the Heart of Earth (according to the indigenous people living there).

I poured my 💛 and soul into it, so whether you are going for a trip yourself or know someone who will -> the perfect gift is waiting in our e-store!

Link in bio. PS. if you follow my blog, perhaps you will soon learn about the story, too.

Amazing illustrations in the journal are made by talented @anniapelsin_atelier

Tonight, summer 2025 officially comes to an end. I Tonight, summer 2025 officially comes to an end.
It has been incredibly fulfilling to catch up with my family, my friends, my nature, my everything that I love in my Estonia. I super adored all of it even before but returning after over a year abroad - it makes makes me appreciate everything x1000. Thank you for the beauty, for the fun, for the deepness and for the magic 🙏❤️!
A couple of days ago I celebrated one year in Sout A couple of days ago I celebrated one year in South America. In March 2024 I flew to Ushuaia, Argentina with no real plan but to rest after working in humanitarian sector (which was really hard to let go). I never thought I'd be gone for over a year.
I didn't have many expectations (I still don't) but it has been MUCH more than I could have ever asked for.
I am writing this while taking part of an indigenous communities' congress in Ecuadorian mountains, where I happened to... appear. Never planned it, and it somehow represents my whole year (and life) very well. It just happens.
It has not always been an easy ride but it has been the best. And it will continue. But.. count me in for your activities and projects and everything in the summer in Estonia and Europe! Maybe even work but not super sure about that yet. 😄

Looking forward to your invitations. ❤️

Pictures are random happy moments, mainly from the past few months. I will also share the not so happy moments when I get back, so you wouldn't think it was only cream and honey. 🍯

My friend David read the map and said "400 more me My friend David read the map and said "400 more meters to the top". I was super tired after already conquering a valley over 5000 meters earlier that day, followed by a very long up and down trail.
So I thought, "400 meters, that I can do but no more!" I walked and walked and walked until I was sure I'm already about to reach the Moon, and then sat down as I couldn't anymore. After a while David caught up and said "good news, only 250 more meters!".
That's when we realized he was speaking about the elevation gain, and I thought of a distance... Worst moment ever. 😄

After some food and rest we reached the top, and then it was only downhill for 11 kilometers. Thunder. Heavy, heavy thunder, and suddenly a very strong loud lightning.

What kept me going, almost running was the thermal waters in the village at the end of the hike. Warmth, mmm...

We only learned later on that a couple hiking in the same area got hit by a lightning, one of them died.

Raw nature.

Probably the hardest but most impressive hike I've Probably the hardest but most impressive hike I've ever done. We decided to hike Ausangate in 2 days instead of normal 3-4, and it was tough. Hail storms, thunderstorms, snow, rain, sun - everything. Four valleys to cross.

Altitude sickness got me the second morning when we had a steep ascend to over 5000 meters.

So, so, so much beauty despite feeling nauseous and out of breath. I learned there that it is possible to feel physically sick but completely happy and alive at the same time.

Will continue...

@thehummusemperor gave an idea and tips to do the 3 days trek in 2 days. So I met another backpacker (who turned out finished an extreme ironman last summer) from Spain. We did it.

Am I an ironbaby now?
